Gardening gloves

For a few years already, Mama has been complaining that her hands ache when it gets cold in the morning. This happens especially when she spent the previous day in her garden. I've been telling her to slow down. She forgets that she's not young anymore; that she gets tired more easily now. She often ignores how tired she is and her body reminds her when she lies in bed.

She can't help it. She likes working with her hands. It was only recently that Mama started to wear gardening gloves. She may not feel the soil on her skin but at least she hasn't been awakened anymore by her aching hands early in the morning.
